Poetry is news
from the frontiers
of consciousness

-- Lawrence Ferlinghetti

This website is dedicated to the creative process.

"Before you tell your life what truths and values you have decided to live up to, let your life tell you what truths you embody, what values you represent."

-- Parker Palmer
Let Your Life Speak

My values and the values that guide this website are

You will find here the works of creators (little "c") such as artists, poets, family, and friends.

Life is a creation, not a discovery.

You do not live each day to discover what it holds for you, but to create it. You are creating your reality every minute, probably without knowing it.

--Neale Donald Walsh
Conversations with God, Book 1

The website contains material from and about Creator with a big "C," that is, a higher power of our understanding. For example you will see:

There are in the end three things that last: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love.

-- St. Paul: 1 Corinthians 13:13

Creativity occurs in human relationships, through intimacy, commitment, and passion. Families and close relationships are expressions of the creative impulse. You will find material about and from my family and friends. Some of the things we are interested in are:

Since I own and manage this website, it is my responsibility to oversee and choose the material that is contained here. If you are an artist, a poet, believer, thinker, lover, someone who wishes to promote peace, respect for all human beings, preserve and nourish the family, friendships, and the Earth, then there may be a place for you here. I intend to be open to submissions and provide a place that will nurture the creative process.

This website is being created with input from my friends, family, and others who are interested. Please contact me if you have suggestions for the site, works of art, poetry, essays about family, relationships, spiritual matters, environmental and animal rights issues. Although I believe in activism, and there is room for some material in that regard, I do not want this site to be a partisan political forum. The emphasis is on the humanities, and humanitarian orientations, but also for those who respect life and family and who believe that human beings are more important than ideas and arguments.
