I love this photo of Mom and Dad on their wedding day.

My dad, Cameron—everyone called him Cam—met Inez (Mom) when he was dating his first wife Verna (Inez's sister).  [I have a VERY interesting family of origin.]  Verna died in a flu epidemic two or three years after they were married.  It was so sad.  Verna was dearly loved by her family and friends.  Dad, who was working in St. Martinville, Louisiana in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCCs - created by Franklin Delano Roosevelt), fell in love with Inez and kept their child, Dal, in the family.  Dad was born and raised in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  In spite of his yankee roots, however, Dad charmed those Cajuns and they fell in love with him.
