Our Cats... hey... they are family too... especially in view of the money we spend on these finickey cats' food.

I know you are dying to know how the cats got their names.  Betty and Ginger both had real long legs even as kittens, so since they were sisters we decided to name them after those famous dancers with long legs.  Now Chaser is the old man, but when he was younger he was always after the other cats.  Now the younger cats have turned the tables on him, poor dude.  Gamin, who has a special relationship with Glenn, was found by Helen out in the utility shed where her mama had abandoned her.  She was about 4 inches long.  Helen got up during the nights to feed her special milk with an eyedropper.  Because of her small size the other cats torment her, so we keep her separated.  She has the run of the garden room.
