Album # 10: Arkansas Christmas - 2005

We took these pictures on our almost-annual trek to Eureka Springs, Arkansas to spend Christmas with our wonderful friends Earl and Richard.

Table with food - Christmas day 2005
Table with food. The soup was French Onion and was rich and yummy. In front of Earl (in blue) you can see the sweet potato casserole (Eurie's recipe) that was soooooo good. We had Honey-Baked ham, greenbeans and potatoes, and a great fruit salad (lower right). Also drank one of the bottles of French wine that Helen and I brought with us. It was all tres yummy.

Dog Chipper
About a year ago Earl and Richard rescued this little dog they named Chipper. Isn't he cute? We think he must have been abused by a former owner because he is real skiddish around strangers, but it didn't take him long to warm up to me and Helen. He could tell we are animal lovers. Probably didn't hold it against us that we are tree huggers too.
