Exhibit
The 360 degree movie of Canadian scenes was spactacular and
one of my favorite things at Epcot.

China performance hall lobby
I couldn't stop looking at this intricate and colorful art
work in the lobby area of the China building where we saw some Chinese children
put on a bouncing acrobat performance with complicated moves, positions, and
formations. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I kept a smile on my face the whole
time. These kids were unbelievably skilled. Sorry I don't have a pic of them
performing, but I was so captivated, I didn't even think of it

I went back to Epcot one night to get some photos of the fireworks. The display was sort of a world tour around the theme of fire, as I remember. They had huge spurts of fire coming out of a stationary structure in the middle of the lake. It was so big we could feel the heat on our faces where we were standing, maybe 200 yards away. The pinkish thing just right of center on the water is the globe I will tell you about below.

In the foreground you can see the bluish-green lazers, a nice effect especially in the smoke of the fireworks.

This is the big globe they had in the center of all the fireworks, a focal point of the display. Before they turned out the lights, It looked like rust-colored metal formations of the continents, but when they started the globe rotating when the firworks began, you could see faces of different peoples and objects representing different cultures throughout the world that were somehow projected. There was music and narration all along that was very well done.

Here you can see the fireworks, the globe and the lazers... what a event to fill the senses, I felt like a little boy again... for those few moments anyway.

Later the globe opened up like pedals of a flower projecting light far up into the night sky and along with fireworks coming out of the center too. Walter Kronkite narrated the last part in which he talked about our common humanity and life on earth. It was inspiring.
