Eldest Cousin
Gary Reed recently sent me the following email and pictures:
Dear Cousins & Family:
Carmen and I had dinner tonight w/ Francis and Ruth Durand. Francis is the youngest (84 years old) son of Albert Durand (brother to our grandfather, Oswald Durand). They live in a subdivision close to us here in Aransas Pass, TX (20+ miles North of Corpus Christi, TX). They are going to try and attend the Durand reunion in November. Francis is one of the oldest living cousins we have. He is a retired partner from Ernst & Young Accounting firm. I got to pick his brain all night and I can tell you all that if you come to the Durand reunion you will be thrilled at the history of our family that he has. We spoke of Howard & Jennie, Spike Hough, Sue Sue Landry, Jacob & Stephanie Landry and on and on and on.
